About Me
I’m Cat, a social impact strategist helping organizations of all kinds develop culturally-informed, equity-advancing impact platforms, narratives, and content.
In 2016, after years of working in a range of marketing, communications, and management roles in my once-dream field of the music business, I made a move to pursue culture work for more than entertainment — I made the leap to work in social impact. I felt called to help people in need of social dignity, equity and justice, safety, and a promising future. People like all of us.
Now, with over fifteen years of experience supporting clients across music and social impact, I work from an understanding of media storytelling, an instinct for developing creative cultural content, an ease in working with client-partners and their teams, and a prowess for strategic thinking through complex issues.
Since making the leap to a professional life devoted to positive impact, I’ve been humbled to have worked with influential brands, nonprofits, foundations, and more; to have developed award-winning content promoting inclusive and equitable impact; to have nurtured culture and community within a leading social impact consultancy; and to have sparked and strengthened connections across sectors, issues, and regions.
My social impact portfolio spans issue spaces including criminal justice, public health, the arts and media, play and sport, economic advancement, and more. Whether helping build a resonant impact platform for consumer audiences, evolving a brand voice to meet new cultural standards, or reframing a mission to better realize systemic change, I’m proud to bring sharp strategies, compelling content, and a thoughtful cultural sensibility to work toward positive change.
